My creativity blossoms when I delve into weaving and crafting intricate, textile masterpieces. I also believe in listening to the rhythm of the loom—sometimes it calls for intricate patterns, while other times it craves simplicity. Weaving is my way of connecting with people.

I discovered my passion for weaving after reading SASSAFRASS, CYPRESS, AND INDIGO by Ntozake Shange. I joined the Hawaiian Handweaver’s Hui soon after moving to the Big Island of Hawaii. I’ve developed a profound connection with weaving and the community. As I dive deeper into this art, I began to understand how weaving can be a therapeutic and unifying force, bringing people together
